February Musings

Finally Finished the painting bellow. (all be it a few details.) Tomorrow I try my luck and enter work to both The Scottish Society of Artist and The Visual Arts Scotland's Annual Shows. Both of which are running at the same time at The Royal Scottish Academy.
As always its a bit of a gamble and not being a member of any of them limits my chances, But I've been lucky before.

Valentines Day

Valentines Day will be soon upon us and I wanted to remind you that there is no better way of immortalising your love for each other than with a painting.
As always I am available for commissions but time is rapidly running out to have them completed in time....

If not there are always these lovely examples that I have done (and are still available.) in the past on the subject.

Sneak Peak 2013

Happy New year to all my followers.

Laurel Gallery Christmas show 29th November

Two little dark beauties for The Christmas show at Laurel Gallery, St Stephens Street, Stockbridge, Edinburgh. Both are 5x7 inche oil sketches which hopefully spawn larger versions in the new year. Due to the size both will be fairly cheap and would make excellent Christmas gifts..... On that note its not too late to commission a small piece for christmas or put in an offer on any of my available works..

The Meffan Winter Exhibition 23rd November 2012

This weekend sees the opening of The annual Winter Exhibition at the Meffan gallery in Forfar. This is probably the most prestigious open exhibition in my home county. This year I have entered "White Rabbit" (above) and "Watchtower."  If you are in the area the exhibition runs til 29th of December, its free entry and most of the art work is available to purchase.
